The SEK Guatemala International School had the honor of hosting the XXXII edition of the Board of Directors of the SEK / IES International Institution, an annual meeting that brings together the directors and senior leaders of the Institution, present in 17 countries around the world.

This edition of the Board took place in the city of Antigua, Guatemala, a historic and cultural setting that provided an exceptional framework for the event. During the visit, participants toured the facilities of SEK Guatemala International School and enjoyed performances prepared by the students, showcasing their talent and creativity, making the experience truly enriching and memorable.

Throughout the sessions, members of the Board shared experiences, exchanged ideas, and worked collaboratively on the challenges and opportunities that education faces today. Strategic topics were addressed, such as pedagogical innovation, academic development, the integration of new technologies in the classroom, and the implementation of projects that strengthen the SEK / IES identity worldwide.

The meeting also served as a platform to present initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ holistic education, fostering global competencies, and promoting meaningful and transformative learning.
