The children in Reception and Pre-School were very excited to have their first Forest School session with our Forest School Leader Mr Hughes.
 
They were given a safety talk at the start which included fire pit safety, the safety circle and the respect position which they would use when toasting their marshmallows over the fire.

All the children followed instructions beautifully and listened so well to what was being said. Next each child had a turn at toasting some marshmallows. Then to the highlight of the session which was of course eating them. What a fun outdoor learning experience.
