International Education Systems IES schools provide educational programmes suited to the needs of their different local communities. Both national and international programmes are on offer.
International programmes include the Primary Years Programme (PYP), for 3-11 year olds, and the Diploma Programme, for 16-18 year olds, of The International Baccalaureate (IB), as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) offered by University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE). These programmes and the qualifications to which they lead are available in countries throughout the world and widely recognised for purposes of admission to the best universities and to other higher education courses.
Language qualifications are also on offer according to students’ needs.
IES schools are members of the International Schools Association (ISA), the world’s oldest international schools association founded in the 1950s.
